Manpower & mother-to-child transmission: including men in PMTCT

On Wednesday (4 September 2013) prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) specialist Dr Coceka Mnyani of the Anova Health Institute will unpack why men are not involved in PMTCT programmes, suggest how to include men in PMTCT and examine how men’s involvement contributes to women’s adherence to PMTCT strategies. The impact that men’s inclusion in PMTCT could have on men’s health will also be explored.

The café features a 20-minute talk by a specialist in the field of prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) , followed by a casual roundtable chat. Designed with your busy schedule in mind, our cafés offer you the opportunity to connect with an expert and get targeted information—all in the time it takes to grab a quick bite and something to drink (and those are on us).
