SA link exposed in Aids drugs scam

South African police and prosecutors have struck a blow against an international antiretroviral (ARV) drug syndicate operating in at least five countries.
An ongoing probe by the Hawks and the German police is unravelling how subsidised drugs were bought in bulk from various pharmaceutical giants in the UK, repackaged in South Africa and sold at full price in Europe.
The companies were apparently duped into believing the drugs were destined for the poor in Africa and the masterminds pocketed tens of millions in the scam...read the full article
