Her portrait hangs on the wall as a constant reminder that her memory lives on, but sadly now her name has been stained, The sisters of kwaito star Brown Dash's late wife, Nokulunga Masilela, look at her portrait and are barely able to hold back their tears.
They have gathered in their Daveyton family family home to tell us that they're deeply hurt by the things that Gladys Mpamile, mother of the late Brown Dash, said about their sister in a recent DRUM interview (He was my world, 12 July).
In it MaMpamile accused Nukulunga of turning her son's life into a financial and emotional mess. She also claimed Nokulunga was the one who infected her son, Siphiwe Mpamile aka Brown Dash, who passed away on 9 May, with HIV.
